Hi Team, thank you for the free product, for what it was I liked it, as I am just learning to type I felt that the Max Type Lite wasn't for me. I found Kirans' Typing Tutor (freeware) more of what I needed. There is a tutoring program "PC Professor" ($US10)which I would consider should the freeware I've found not be as it should. What I have found with a lot of software is that each product has it's own particular good parts, if you were to look at the various paid for and unpaid for stuff, pick out the good pieces and knock that up to produce a fantastic piece of software.Yours was no different, without going into detail Max TT had some excellent features, interfacial design could be better and a couple of other goodies e.g. colour and sound could be thrown in, thanks anyway, yours sincerely, Michael

Nice ability to create your own text. Works great for my children. The interface to select the .txt file is a bit cumbersome, though.

Very easy to input your own text! Will not show words per minute, shows charaters per minute instead. Does seem to help with speed though! Very detailed charts and play back mode.

I would love to add something about the product, thank you! If I were young again, and should learn it all over again, I couldn't have chosen a better way to learn type writing. I am catching up, you know. I need to keep my rusty touch swinging. And MaxType LITE Typing Tutor is my choice.

Good program.
What is annoing is that it's not possible to switch on spaces at the end of the string. In real world automaticaly wrapped string is ended with space (not with enter or nothing). Most of my mistakes because I print space.

Not quite sure.

I put this on my computer so my wife could learn to type. So far she likes it, but it has locked up a few times!? My wife is not computer literate, so when these gliches happen, she is stymied.
